The Blackfriars Crown Court site was purchased in 2019 by developers Fabrix Capital. Now the site will be repurposed and they want to hear what you have to say!
Fabrix is a property investment manager focussed on repurposing land and property “with a touch of creative flair.”
Fabrix recently acquired the Blackfriars Crown Court from the Ministry of Justice earlier in 2019, and will shortly be submitting a minor application for a change of use from sui generis to office (B1) use class.
Pre-application consultation (i.e. the first phase of the consultation timeline) will begin in the New Year. More details on their consultation and engagement schedule will be provided then, including the first public exhibition which will provide a further opportunity to review initial proposals.
This is the first step to developing a wider vision for the site including new public spaces and walkways, offices including affordable workspace as well as new community spaces.
Meet the Team event hosted by Fabrix in order to introduce the team developing the proposals.
The event will provide an opportunity for Fabrix to discuss their ethos as a company to local stakeholders, alongside their experience and previous work.
This will also be an opportunity to discuss the emerging vision for the building and provide an opportunity for your early feedback on initial concepts and ideas.
The event is taking place on
Saturday 14th December @ 10:00 to 14:00 at 27 Copperfield Street, London, SE1 0EN.
If you have any questions, or if a meeting to discuss our early vision for the site would be of interest, please contact
